Product Application
(1) High tensile strength and low elongation rate - Fiberglass geogrid is made of fiberglass as raw material, which has high deformation resistance and a fracture elongation rate of less than 3%.
(2) No long-term creep - as a reinforcing material, the ability to resist deformation under long-term loads, i.e. creep resistance, is extremely important. Glass fiber does not undergo creep, which ensures that the product can maintain its performance for a long time.
(3) Thermal stability - The melting temperature of fiberglass is above 1000 ℃, which ensures the thermal stability of fiberglass geogrids during paving operations. (4) Compatibility with asphalt mixture - The material coated on fiberglass geogrid in the post-treatment process is designed for asphalt mixture, with each fiber fully coated and highly compatible with asphalt, ensuring that the fiberglass geogrid does not isolate from the asphalt mixture in the asphalt layer, but is firmly bonded together.
(5) Physical and chemical stability - After being coated with special post-treatment agents, fiberglass geogrids can resist various physical wear and chemical erosion, as well as biological erosion and climate change, ensuring their performance is not affected.
(6) Aggregate interlocking and restriction - Due to the mesh structure of fiberglass geogrids, aggregates in asphalt concrete can penetrate through them, forming mechanical interlocking. This restriction hinders the movement of aggregates, allowing asphalt mixtures to achieve better compaction, higher load-bearing capacity, better load transfer performance, and smaller deformation under load.
